Flames of life. -Hidalgo Mountains- [Open to all]

Hazel stared out the window of the train. The moment she left Colton the environment was getting barer and barer. She knew she had to be almost there to the Hidalgo Mountains. After reaching the mountains, she knew she had to travel the rest of the way on hoof. She hugged her saddle bags against her chest, she had a few coins that were enough to get her a place to rest and eat for while. She'd have to be careful on asking for directions to get into the City. She'd probably have to do it by herself, seeing as though any guide through the mountain would be looking for a few pieces to satisfy themselves. Yes, she was alone. However, she left a note at her home stead telling anypony that would come searching for her--where they could find her. Her thoughts drifted to Dusty and that fact she hadn't seen him since Hearts & Hooves day, but she'd see him again.

She had gotten wind of a tale of a Ghost Pony scaring the living day lights out of other traveling ponies across the Hidalgo Mountains. That is what brought her here. She wanted to see this Ghost Pony for herself, and maybe possibly help it. The name this pony was given kind of set her on edge. The "Pony of Flame". She had made a mental note to think this Pony might be attracted to fire. When she reaches the Mountains, only time will tell if her hypotheses is correct.

As if on cue, the train rolled to a stop. She peered outside and saw the Guide Shack. A few ponies were standing outside speaking to one another. In the distance she watched a a Guide Pony lead a group of tourists into the Mountain. With a sigh, she pulled her saddle bags on, then her jacket. She was going to stick out like a sore thumb. Stepping off the train, she marched straight to the Shack to get some food, water and a map. It was time she began to trek through the Mountain. In search of the Pony of Flame.
