After he told her, she seemed fine with it. That was good! When she told him it was okay he relaxed in his seat. It was when she asked him his name. "Oh you can still call me Puddy if you want too." He would rather be called Puddy, even though it meant fat. "M-My real name is William." Pud blushed. "Kind of a silly name isn't it? I never liked it"

She gave him a reassuring smile, "Well I like it. But don' worry, you'll always be Puddy to me." Claire reached over and tried to give him a reassuring touch on the shoulder- which she had no idea where it was.

Puddy took her hoof when she reached it over. He kissed it lightly and smiled. "Thank you Ms. DeLune." He said lightly. "You really make me feel like the luckiest colt in all of Eponia." After, he let go of her hoof, setting it lightly on the table.

Claire blushed lightly when she felt him kiss her hoof. Oh, such a gentecolt. The butterflies in her stomach were all in a tizzy at both his action and his words. "And you make me the luckiest mare in all of Eponia." Oh that was cheezy, the blush increased on her face.

Puddy blushed along with her. Goodness these two ponies were the cheesiest ponies ever, seriously. It was on cheesy like after the other with them. This caused Puddy to chuckled a little. He thought it was cute; Claire was a super special pony to him.
A waiter walked over to the table at this time. "Hello- Are you ready to order your drinks?"

Claire was still blushing when the waiter came over, and her brain derped. Drinks-? Drinks! Right, drinks. She quickly read the menu again, finding the drinks, and saw what was available. "Oh um- lemonade please."

"Strawberry lemonade for me please." Puddy said, looking back at Claire with a dreamy sigh.
"Normal and Strawberry Lemonade, got it. It will be here shortly." And with that the waiter was gone, off to the get the drinks.

She couldn't help but giggle slightly. He was just so cute! Oh wait, the waiter said he'll be back shortly. She should probably look the menu over again to avoid further derpness. Claire began to scan the menu, but her face was still facing Puddy. "This is lovely Puddy, such a nice place."

Puddy smiled at her. "Oh- uhm. Yeah. I thought you would like it. I mean I hoped you would. Im glad you do." He said nervously. He looked at his menu again when he noticed that she was looking again. Good idea.
A few minutes later the waiter came back and set two drinks on the table. "Are you ready to order or do you need a few more minutes?" He asked the two.

Claire had decided on one of the more moderately priced meals, knowing that she would still feel guilty even if Puddy was rich. "I'll just have the spaghetti with veggie sauce." Spaghetti sounded like the perfect meal to eat in such a nice place with her coltfriend. Oh wait, "I mean, if you're ready to order Puddy."

"Huh- Oh. I will have what she is having." Truth is: when he was looking at the menu, he wasn't. He was staring at her. He was taken by her beauty; good thing Puddy could eat anything! "Uhm. Good choice in food."
The waiter nodded and trotted off.

Shoving her menu to the side, Claire propped her head up on her hooves as she looked in his direction. "Thank you, I thought it would be a nice meal to have." She giggled slightly when she thought of something. "Wouldn't it be funny if they ended up bringing a platter of it instead of two plates? Then we'd have to share."

Puds ears perked up when he heard the platter idea. "I-I wouldn't mind." You know, that wasn't a bad idea. He wanted to call a waiter over and asked them to do that for them but- this wasn't the lady and the tramp.

Claire tilted her head as she smiled at her coltfriend. "It's alright if they don't, I don't really need an excuse to kiss you-" Whoa Tartarus that last part slipped out. Instantly her cheeks were aflamed from blushing. Looks like she didn't need Blitz around to embarrass her.
