Hazel stared out the window. In the distance she could see dark clouds gathering. But, this was the middle of winter, there couldn't be a storm coming. She thought it was probably just another cold front rolling in. Trying to be optimistic, she grabbed her cloak and saddle bags. She wanted to gather a few berries for an experiment she was concocting. So, braving the oncoming weather, she ventured out of her newly refirmished cottage and left her protective barrier behind. Trotting forward she headed into the Tulgey Woods, the shadows enveloping her. While walking along the trail she found some Crystal Berry bushes that were pushing up fruit in spite of the cold, with a smile she used her magic to hold a piece of berry in her front of her muzzle and took a bite. "Mmm, nice and sweet." she licked her lips, then put a few berries into her bag. A few bushes of these would be nice to have. Coming to the border of the Zap Apple trees, she made a B-line to search elsewhere. No way was she gonna go back there. The thickness of the forest had blocked out the sky. She didn't feel the tiny droplets of rain until it was pouring down buckets. She sighed, her mane streaming into her face. Great, ice cold rain. She began to turn around to head home, when a bolt of lightening lit up the sky above. The roaring thunder had her bolting into the trees, without worrying about the direction.

(I'm really bad at roleplay so please bear me!)
Kashmir was gathering fruit to sell at the market when she noticed the sudden downpour! She shivered, her wet bangs covering her eyes, she looked around and jumped when the strong roar of the thunder echoed the sky. "oh gosh" she whispered, as she started to walk off she hard hoofs stomping the wet ground and noticed the mare running. She hesitated and didn't think it was her business to follow, but being noisy as she is she started to follow her.
(tell me if i messed up something!)

WitchHazel was oblivious to have been spotted. All she could think of was the storm that was raging around her. Thunder rumbled above her and she raced through the woods. When she spotted a thicket of bowed branches and trees, she scrambled toward it. Hooves getting stuck in the mud, she stumbled into the brush and hid. Curling in on herself, she put her head beneath her hooves. Her body began to shake, and not from the rain or cold. Another streak of lightening rippled across the sky and the thunder shook the ground. Rain streamed down her face, or it could've been tears. Ears pinned against her skull, she couldn't stand how frightened she was. More thunder rumbled above, she cried out when a closer rumble of thunder ripped apart the sky.

Kashmir followed WitchHazel until she noticed she was slowing down to find a place to hide..? She looked down at the curled up and frighten looking mare. "H-hey..? Are you okay..?" Her bangs were covering her eyes and she kept shaking them out of her face. She started to nudge her a bit but stopped quickly so she didn't get a big reaction. Her ears flatten and sighed while tilting her head wondering why this mare was upset.

Hazel jumped slightly when she felt something nudge. She stared up at the mare that stood before her. Her ember eye was dilated in fear, her mane still covered half of her face. She opened her mouth to speak, but ducked her head when another streak of lightening danced across the sky above. She whimpered as the thunder boomed soon after. When the thunder resided, she looked up back up at the mare. "N-no, I-I'm not.." she whispered fearfully, tears seeming to bubble in her eye.

She sighed kinda worried and feeling bad for the mare. "It's okay, It's just a storm.." Kashmir wanted to leave getting a bit scared of the mare and the storm, but she didn't want to leave the weeping mare all by herself. Her hooves were starting to sink deeper into the mud, feeling awkward and her wings were just drenched and numb. She REALLY wanted to leave now. "Come on maybe we should go back to my place? It's not far from here..?"

WitchHazel peered up at the mare, her eyes still full of fear. The thunder had receded for the moment, but rain still poured down in buckets. When she spoke about moving them to her home, she peered past the mare at the sky blocked by the branches. She shut her eyes as Lightening streak and the ever present thunder rumbled above. When the thunder stopped, she stumbled to her hooves and nodded. "O-okay,..le-lead the way.." she whispered, walking hesitantly out of the shelter of branches.

She nodded and starting walking, looking back if the pony was still following. Was she hurt? Or was she just scared? Kashmir was hoping to ask the mare those questions when they got back to her home. After about 7 minutes of walking they arrived at her house she open up the door quickly and let the mare walk in.

WitchHazel stayed by the other mare, flinching and pause at each lightening strike. She would scamper closer to the other once the thunder would recede. When they finally arrived at the mare's home, she paused a moment, looking at herself which was drenched in rain, of course the other was too. A roaring thunder sent her scampering into the home fearfully. She turned around to look about the home, then looked down as water dripped off her muzzle and onto the growing puddle on the floor at her hooves. "I-I'm sorry, I..I will clean this up.." she whispered.

She watched her enter the house "Oh, no. It's okay." She walked in too and went over into the bathroom to get something to clean her and the other mare with "Ill be right back."

Hazel frowned slightly, watching the other disappear into the bathroom. She looked down at the water of the growing puddle. She didn't like it that she was getting the floor really wet. Her horn glowed brightly, the water boiled and began to rise as bubbles of water levitated off the floor. They got bigger as she pulled more water off her body and the floor.

Bringing back towels she looked down and at the mare, the water was gone. She shrugged it off and wiped herself off "So are you okay now?" She tilted her head. "Oh, and what is your name?" Her wing twitched.

WitchHazel turned and looked at the other mare. She smiled weakly and nodded. Being inside an actual building helped her calm down from the storm. "Ye-yeah, I..I'm sorry to have caused you trouble.." she looked out the window where she could see the trees blowing back and forth and lightening lighting up the darkness. "I..I really don't like storms.." she said, then turned back to the mare as she asked her name. "Um, its Belle. Whats is yours?"
