"You know very well I am a High Elf. I may look like an Earth Pony, but we have magic of our own. My Garden is an Eden--a Sanctuary. My magic is for nature. Especially for these roses." he smiled and approached an apple tree and Hazel approached. He plucked two apples from the tree and offered one to Hazel and the other to Valdus, "Or, do you just eat meat?" he asked, his eyes watching Valdus closely.
Hazel glanced sideways at the two of them. She wondered how her grandfather had figured out what Valdus was. It had taken her moment or two to figure it out. Maybe because he was a Supernatural as well?

Valdus stopped looking around and turned to Pan. “Although I know of the species, I had not before encountered a High Elf - or at least one that spoke of their magical abilities.” He watched Pan and Hazel walk to the apple tree.
Valdus looked to the apple offered to him and then back to Pan. “No I eat other foods as well, I just prefer meat.” As if to prevent a growl of irritation, he accepted the apple. “...Thank-you.”

"We are very secretive. We don't like to attract attention. I mostly keep to my Garden when I am not with my Court." he said and gestured to them to follow him. He lead them deeper into Garden where it seemed to open up to a pool with a small waterfall cascading into the pool. He sat down next to a Weeping Willow and gestured for them to sit.
"So, when not out gallivanting through the Tulgey Woods, what do you two do?" he asked, genuinely curious.
"I mostly keep to myself in my cottage. I like to read my dad's books and Garden. Of course, can't do much gardening yet. There is still quite a bit of snow on the ground." Hazel explained.

Valdus sat down, looking around. "Well,I was working on a new game's design. This time I decided to go with a forrest and wanted to use the trees in this woods as insperation." He answered only to pause before continuing again. "...but, lately thhere has not been time to design and finish the game as I have been consulting newly turned Roanwolves often...as to give them advice where needed."

"A Roanwolf that designs games. I've never heard that before." Pan chuckled shaking his head. His large ears pressed forward as he mentioned giving newly turned Roanwolves advice. "Well, I suppose that is a better area to use your time in. Some of these Roanwolves are too stupid, being made willy-nilly and left to run rampant to destroy towns and families. As well as those bloody, Vamponies." he sneered.
"So, you don't necessarily hate Roanwolves, but you hate the Vamponies?" Hazel asked, narrowing her eyes.
Pan's gaze turned to his granddaughter. "Vamponies are the ones that slaughtered your parents. My daughter." he snapped.

Valdus strethced slightly. "I admit, the job does get harder with every new Roanwolf but, not all are as wild and unruly as legend states," he looked to Pan. "And though there are 'idiots', not all Roanwolves are unbearable." His fur bristled at the sound of Vamponies. "I do not have great passion for Vamponies and I find it an insult that you'd think to compare us with them." He was unable to prevent the growl of anger towards Pan.
After realising why Panh hated the Vamponies so much, Valdus looked to Belle to see if she was alright then, turned back to Pan. "That, I am truly sory to hear." He lowered his head.
